I am happiest when I am busy, so I have started a new side project!
When I joined Twitter, I followed all the key dog press outlets in the UK, hoping they would update regularly and that I could get all my canine news from them. However, none of them tweet half as much as I would like them to, despite there being a lot going on in the world of dogs. This is probably because they are busy putting out papers and magazines, writing high quality articles longer than 140 characters in length; but I get most of my news from a Twitter feed these days, and I know other people out there do too.
But, when I searched for someone who would tweet dog news regularly, I just found a bunch of spammers and bots! But if you want something done right…
So here it is: my new twitter feed of doggie news. I aim to update it as and when any interesting canine news breaks, as well as use it to keep an eye on what the ‘professionals’ are saying. I promise to only put news from reliable sources up here, with no political agenda. I will re-tweet the words of others, but will not usurp any of their purposes. I am not out to make any money from this, just to create a handy tool that I hope other dog lovers around the world will find useful. Let me know what you think!
