I have always loved Disney films; from my first ever cinematic experience with Aladdin, via my duvet day favourite 101 Dalmatians, right up to the amazing songs of Moana and Encanto. So, when a friend asked if I wanted to join her in watching the entire 57 disc Classic box set from start to finish, I was up for this.
However, re-watching these films, some of which I have not seen for years, as an adult does raise some interesting questions. So, I will be blogging about the films as we (slowly) go. Click on the links below for the series so far.

You’ll notice that the part-live-action films – Mary Poppins, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Pete’s Dragon, Dinosaur, and Enchanted – are not included in this list; they were omitted from the box set, so we’re skipping them for now. Also left out was Song of the South, for obvious reasons, and DuckTales the Movie and A Goofy Movie, because those were based on TV shows.
We have discounted sequels, except where included by the box set curators (Rescuers Down Under, Ralph Breaks The Internet, Frozen II), and the Pixar films, though we may get to those in time.
(And yes, I know I’m not the first or only person to do this. If you’re looking for an excellent podcast full of fun Disney animation facts, check out Dis-Order.)
